Above are before and after videos of the walls showing how we painted them

We added a stick on mural on one wall to really create the underwater scene better then we could have painted it

I painted rocks around the edges of the mural and all around the bottom of the room to help tie in the mural. I attempted to follow where the rocks in the mural went, so it would look the most natural.

This was the laminate floor we chose. The floors used to be carpet but for a craft room laminate is much easier to clean

I had the idea to tie in the fact that its a sewing room by making a giant crazy quilt for the ceiling using a bunch of different blue fabrics we got at thrift stores. it took my 3 days to sew, but it turned out really cool

I Planned out the furniture placement in AutoCAD, but in the end some pieces ended up in different spots

This was a preliminary view of the major furniture placement before a lot of things were put away

We used wooden crates stained different colors to hold yarn and look like a stack of crates you might find on a shipwreck at the bottom of the sea

We used curtain rods and clips to hang fabric on the wall, its easier to use things that are in sight

No underwater themed room is complete without a fish tank. We have had this tank forever and it fits really well with this room
