Above are the 3d models in Fusion 360. there are two different sizes for the hexes themselves and one size of magnet cap that fits on both of them. These are easy to modify with different sized interiors and all have the same size of interlocks. I have plans to make two other types of caps, one to stick into a peg board and another that can be screwed or nailed to a wall.

The first prototype that I could get together, these are still a little tight but they are functional and I was able to adjust the model a little to make the rest

I printed the larger mica powder hexes with a different brand of ABS and they are much looser. they stay together when hanging but I can't easily move them since they are so tight. This was a lessen that different brands of plastic can hold a different tolerance
