I learned how to make perfectly compostable bowls and starter pots out of leaves and twigs. Moringa saplings are planted in the lower ones
I made a lot of mostly rope and stick trellises and other gardening features. They come in handy to keep vegetables off the ground and away from moisture especially during monsoon season

Most of the time you use single use plastic when making mushroom bags. I ran an experiment to see if I could make a reusable mushroom bucket. I was evacuated soon after so I don't know if they kept using it, but we harvested one round of mushrooms from these bags

These are some fascinating examples of nepali ingenuity. These take water down from the surrounding hills to the village. They also use them as pathways and if you follow them up into the hills they take you to the water mill

There is a great deal of plastic waste in nepal, so I learned how to make it into yarn and made a pot with it. I taught some of the villagers how to do this too.

A large project that I had was to teach how to make wood stoves with chimneys to decrease the amount of smoke people sat in while cooking. If I had had another year there I would have made a lot more, but in total I made 4 improved cook stoves and one oven.
